摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism which uses blue light, a prism which can improve the yield of an optical system using the same, and a manufacturing method for the optical system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the prism used by transmitting a light beam of &le;420 nm in wavelength by sticking one surface of a 1st light-transmissive substrate 8b whose sectional shape is nearly parallelogram and an oblique surface provided to a 2nd light-transmissive substrate 8a together includes a process of forming a 1st optical thin film 8d on one surface of the 1st substrate 8b and a process of forming a 2nd optical thin film 8e having different optical property from the 1st optical thin film 8d on a surface nearly parallel to the one surface; and the 1st and 2nd optical thin films 8d and 8e are formed by selecting film thicknesses, substrate temperature, filming rates, etc., so that stress generated in the 1st substrate 8b by the 1st optical thin film 8d and stress generated in the 1st substrate 8b by the 2nd optical thin film 8e becomes equal to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
