<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly light vehicle lighting equipment utilizing semiconductor light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle light lighting equipment used for the vehicle comprises the light generating semiconductor light emitting elements used for the vehicle lighting equipment and a current control part supplying a pre-set current to the semiconductor light emitting elements and varying the current based on the temperature of the vehicle lighting equipment. The current control part may reduce the current when the temperature of the vehicle lighting equipment is higher than a pre-set threshold temperature. Also, the current control part may reduce the current when the vehicle is stopped. The current control part also comprises a threshold temperature set part which, when the speed of the vehicle is lower than a pre-set speed, sets a first threshold temperature, and when the speed of the vehicle is more than a pre-set speed, sets a second threshold temperature higher than the first threshold temperature.
