<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is excellent in chemical resistance, particularly, plasticizer resistance, which has high sensitivity, which reduces texture fogging, and which is excellent in heat-resistant shelf life. <P>SOLUTION: In this thermal recording material, a thermal color development layer, which is mainly composed of a leuco dye and a developer, is provided on a substrate, and a diphenylsulfone derivative, which is expressed by general formula (I), is contained as the developer in the thermal color development layer. A ratio between the weight of 4-hydroxy-4'-allyloxydiphenylsulfone and that of the diphenylsulfone derivative is set to be in a range of 3:7-7:3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
