PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming condition by which image failure hardly occurs.

SOLUTION: A plurality of secondary transferring conditions are selected in the secondary transfer part 20 of a full color image forming apparatus 1. A test chart is created by each selected secondary transferring condition and printed out. The page page No.for paper P with the best image quality is selected by viewing and confirming the test chart on each printed out paper P and the secondary transferring condition for the paper P is set as the standard secondary transfer condition hereafter.
