<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily collect information on units, and also, to more efficiently discriminate the recovered units. <P>SOLUTION: Electromagnetic wave transmitted from the storage element of the recovered toner cartridge is received (S100), the propriety of reusing the toner cartridge is decided based on the number of times of reusing the toner cartridge obtained from the received electromagnetic wave (S110). And, the propriety of reusing a supply roller and a developing roller is decided based on the number of times of reusing the rollers, and also, the toner cartridge is discriminated, and it is decided in which sorting area the toner cartridge is sorted (S120 to S140). A sorting part is controlled so that the toner cartridge is guided to the decided sorting area (S150), and the decision result is registered into a discrimination data base (S160).
