<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the image quality deteriorates when the drive roller of a carrying means is composed of a rubber roller due to inherent eccentricity of the drive roller. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is arranged to calculate the feeding amount error of a carry roller 27 based on the home position, eccentricity and angle of the carry roller 27 and to correct the rotation rate of the carry roller 27 based on the calculated feeding amount error thus reducing variation in feeding amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
