<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation auxiliary device for a vehicle for carrying out control for avoiding collision when crossing possibility with other vehicles is enhanced during following-traveling against a proceeding vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The operation auxiliary device for the vehicle capable of carrying out the following-traveling of an driver's own vehicle making a specific vehicle as an object vehicle to be followed determines the crossing possibility of the driver's own vehicle and other vehicles utilizing inter-vehicular communication.
