<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for a projector by which the image of high precision can be magnified on a screen for display. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of LED chips 11 are mounted on a substrate 10 in a light source 1, and all of the plurality of LED chips 11 are sealed by transparent resin 12. The plurality of LED chips 11 are constituted from red color LED chip, blue color LED chip and green color LED chip. Upon being diffused by a diffuser 13 working as a diffusing means, red color, blue color and green color light are mixed to form a luminous flux with white color and condensed by a condenser lens 14, and light distribution is carried out to the projector from a collecting window 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
