<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable connector which can be connected easily only by inserting an FPC into a female connector and easily detach the FPC from the female connector if necessary. <P>SOLUTION: The detachable connector has a male connector 1 and a female connector 4. A second contact portion 72 of a female contactor 7 contacts with a terminal 301 of a circuit trace of an FPC 300 when inserting the FPC 300 into an FPC insertion groove 6 of the female connector 4. Simultaneously, a lock mechanism 8 functions, a tongue-shaped piece 81 is engaged with a hole 80 of the FPC 300, and the FPC is brought into a locked state. The FPC 300 can be extracted from the female connector 4 by removing the tongue-shaped piece 81 from the hole 80. A male contactor 3 and the female contactor 7 contact each other by engaging a projection 2 of the male connector 1 with a recess 5 of the female connector 4, and the FPC 300 and a substrate P are brought into an electrically connected state via the detachable connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
