PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a light radiation device by arranging a dielectric barrier discharge lamp adjoining as close as possible. SOLUTION: A dielectric barrier discharge lamp 1 is provided with a pinch sealing part 5 to seal the end of a discharge vessel 2. The pinch sealing 5 extends along the shorter side direction of the discharge vessel 2. Also at the side surface of the discharge vessel 2, an exhaust tube 8 remains.
