PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine highly interesting for a player to play a game with hope and interest even in an interval of a special game reserving mode, and provide a method of controlling the same, a program, and a memory medium recording the program. SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a stop operation order determining means 100 for determining the order of operation of stop switches, a stop operation order comparing means 160 for comparing the order of operation determined by the stop operation order determining means 100 and the order of actual operation by the player, and determining whether the orders are coincident or not, and a special game shifting lottery determining means 130 for determining whether a special game reserved in a special game frequency reserving means 90 should be provided or not according to the frequency of determination of coincidence by the stop operation order comparing means 160.
