PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing apparatus capable of driving a staple needle on a fold securely in mode in which a plurality of sheets are bound by stapling. SOLUTION: This sheet post-processing apparatus is provided with a sheet folding unit giving a fold to a predetermined part of each sheet, a conveyance passage 50 having a regulation member 52 at one end and accumulating a plurality of sheets provided with folds by aligning their end parts to form a bundle S1 of sheets, a pair of delivery rollers 64 conveying the bundle of sheets in a predetermined direction along the conveyance passage 50, a detection means 71 detecting a fold of the bundle of sheets conveyed in the conveyance passage 50, a stapler 62 driving a staple needle into the bundle of sheets, and a control means 46 moving the stapler 62 and the bundle of sheets relatively based on output values from the detection means 71 to control the stapler 62 and drive the staple needle into the bundle of sheets. For example, a distance measuring sensor measuring distance between the bundle of sheets conveyed in the conveyance passage 50 and it is provided as the detection means 71.
