PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration adjustment device which reduces extra supply of high concentration toner in order to adjust liquid toner concentration in a liquid development electrophotographic apparatus, and to provide a control method for the device. SOLUTION: The toner is restricted in an amount of injection of high concentration liquid toner by providing a carrier extraction mechanism which separates and extracts only carrier into a concentration adjustment pot.
