PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high-quality hollow twisted yarn-like material (S) by regulating tension (T) with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A tapelike material (P) is withdrawn from a tape-like winding package (W) with withdrawing rollers (86a) and (86b) and formed into the hollow twisted yarn-like material (S) with a turnover imparting means (18) and a tape-like material rotating means (20). In the process, the tension (T) of the hollow twisted yarn-like material (S) is directly detected on the upstream side of the withdrawing rollers (86a) and (86b) with a tension detecting means (26). The number of revolutions of the tape-like material winding package (W) is regulated with high accuracy by a servo motor (98) so that the tension (T) becomes constant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
