PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the bending rigidity and durability while suppressing the increase of the dimension and weight of the hydraulic draft gear for a suspension to the minimum. SOLUTION: When an outer tube 11 of the hydraulic draft gear D for the suspension is attached to a knuckle through a bracket 11a, the stress concentration can be absorbed by raising the bending rigidity of the outer tube 11 fixing an annular reinforcement member 26 to the inner circumference of the outer tube 11 although the big stress concentration occurs in the fixed parts of the outer tube 11 and the bracket 11a. Because the reinforcement member 26 is fixed to an upper half B of the fixing range A to the outer tube 11 of the bracket 11a especially, the durability can be raised by reinforcing effectively the part of the outer tube 11 where the stress is the most concentrative. Moreover, the outside diameter of the hydraulic draft gear D is not increased by the reinforcement member 26 and the weight is increased very little only by the weight of the reinforcement member 26.
