PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plaster for skin care by finding a base composition that has low skin irritation and is capable of being impregnated with physiologically active components in a high concentration and using the composition. SOLUTION: A base composition is prepared by using, as a base polymer, a block copolymer including a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer and a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer and, as a plasticizer component, an ester compound bearing methyl groups and methylene groups in total of 25≤the total groups≤35 per the total number of the ester groups. Then, the resultant composition is used as a base composition and an lipophilic and physiologically skin-active component is added to the base composition and dissolved to give the plaster for skin care.
