PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect gene polymorphism of a gene encoding protein having an amino acid represented by a specific sequence. SOLUTION: The detection method is performed by detecting gene polymorphism using a kit. Consequently, the gene polymorphism of a gene encoding protein having an amino acid represented by a specific sequence is detected and diseases (e.g. cancer, obesity, central disease, endocrine disease, metabolic disease, etc.) related to the gene or its function are diagnosed or the magnitude of its crisis danger is predicted.
