The invention relates to an electronic turbine flowmeter for gas (1) whose measuring principle, first of all, basically consists of converting the kinetic energy inherent to the flow of gas to be measured into a rotation of a turbine wheel (5), and of using the rotational speed of this turbine wheel for determining the volume of the flow of gas. In order to achieve a higher measuring accuracy, the invention provides that the flow past a special rotating body (15) is evaluated instead of the flow past the turbine blades (6) and, optionally, the respective gas pressure is taken into account by a Reynolds linearization. In addition, the wear of the ball bearing (8) and the respective pressure of flow against the turbine blade (5) is monitored by sensors. |
