A sun visor for a vehicle and a method of manufacturing the sun visor capable of preventing wrinkles from occurring near the corner fused parts of skins with a simple structure by solving such a problem that the structure of the sun visor is complicated and the cost thereof is increased when an elastically compressible elastic body is installed between both first and second core split bodies of a core body to prevent the wrinkles from occurring near the corner fused parts of the skins, the sun visor wherein corner tension parts for stopping the displacement of the corner fused parts toward the corner parts of the core body are installed between the corner parts of the core body and the corner fused parts of the skins. Since the displacement of the corner fused parts of the skins toward the corner parts of the core body can be stopped by the corner tension parts, the wrinkles are prevented from occurring on and near the corner fused parts of the skins.
