<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood fan capable of preventing the oily smoke rising in heating cooking from being affected by the movement of a man and the air flow from an air conditioner in a space adjacent to a kitchen, and not giving the feeling of closure to a user in the kitchen. <P>SOLUTION: This range hood fan A for the open kitchen facing a next room L at a back face side of a hood body 1, is provided with a vertically movable screen S for opening and closing a space P between a heating cooker B and the hood body 1 at the back face side of the hood body 1.
