PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectual property expense management system capable of auditing applications while preventing the risk of information leakage and efficiently managing expenses within a company.

SOLUTION: The intellectual property expense management system for managing application expenses includes an invoice management means for managing invoice information indicating application expenses which is sent from an office requesting the application of an intellectual property right; and a passage information management means for managing passage information about the passage of the application. The system also has an adding means by which the passage information managed by the passage information management means is added to the invoice information managed by the invoice management means.
