<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of controlling the degradation of driving performance of a vehicle even if the function of a speed change control mechanism controlling the speed change ratio of a transmission is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for a hybrid vehicle which has a first source for driving force and a second source for driving force transmitting power to wheels, a power distribution device distributing power of the first source for driving force to the wheels and a rotary device, a transmission disposed on a power transmitting pathway from the second source for driving force to the wheels, and a speed change ratio control mechanism controlling speed change ratios of the transmission, is provided with a specific control mechanism 88 provided for controlling status of transmission so as to be able to suppress the degradation of driving performance of the vehicle, even if the function of the speed change ratio control mechanisms SL1 and SL2 is degraded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
