<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a memory system in which data can be held surely with extremely low power consumption and a high speed access can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: Refreshing is performed periodically for a high speed nonvolatile memory cell having spontaneous data preserving capability at the time of non-use of a device by a refresh-control means. Thus, data can be held surely suppressing power consumption at the time of standby to be small boundlessly by combining spontaneous data holding capability of the nonvolatile memory cell, periodic refreshing at the time of non-use, and intermittent power source supply by on/off of a switch means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
