<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic image coding device for reducing battery consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A battery residual quantity detecting device 119 determines whether or not the residual quantity of a battery 117 exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Results of the determination are transmitted to a frame type controller 116. The frame type controller 116 sequentially indicates a frame type in accordance with a normal GOP structure when the residual quantity of the battery is determined as larger than the predetermined threshold value, and compulsorily fixes a coding mode of the frame to an intra mode when the residual quantity of the battery is determined as smaller than the predetermined threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
