PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film that combines an excellent functional surface with fire resistance. SOLUTION: The coated film is a polyester film having a coated layer with a composition containing at least one kind of water-soluble or water-dispersible resin and a fire retardant on one side of the film. Preferably the coated layer is provided in the manufacturing process of the polyester film and the fire retardant is water-soluble or water-dispersible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
