PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal unit of which convenience for users is improved and in which arrival tones is made to be speedily and efficiently settable to a plurality of callers. SOLUTION: The portable terminal unit including a storage means for downloading voice information from a server wherein voice information is preserved, and storing the voice information, is composed of a first selection means for selecting any voice information stored in the storage means, a selection determining means for selecting a setting destination of the voice information when the voice information is selected by the selection means, and for determining it as the setting destination, and a setting means for setting thereafter the voice information to the setting destination that is selected by the selection determining means, as an arrival tone in the case of incoming from the setting destination.
