PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving motor that can improve torque performance at starting without complicating a structure and lowering economical efficiency. SOLUTION: The driving motor comprises a stator winding 6 concentratedly wound to a stator core 3, and rotor conductors (9, 12, 14, 15 and 16A to 16D) arranged to a rotor core 8. Short-circuiting rings 10, 13, and 17 to 20 that short-circuit the rotor conductors (9, 12, 14, 15 and 16A to 16D) are circumferentially divided into 2n (n is an integer).
