摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet field type rotary electric machine driven at a high-speed rotation which can make such conflicting performances as downsizing and characteristic improvement compatible with each other. SOLUTION: In the permanent magnet field type rotary electric machine having a dipolar structure of high-speed operation using a permanent magnet for a field, the number of the slots of an armature core is set to an integer number of 24 to 48, and the slots are formed in a fully closed structure. Thus, harmonic magnetic flux components are reduced so that the harmonic magnetic flux components flowing to the armature and a rotor can fall within 8% of a fundamental frequency component to obtain the rotary electric machine having high efficiency, proper drivability and size reducibility.
