PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel type farm machine comprising a car body frame 6 supported by wheels, and provided with an engine 9 provided with a rotation adjusting means 9b, a continuously variable transmission device 12 of a belt pulley type to properly shift-change output from the engine to be transmitted to the wheels, an artificial speed change operation device 16, and an electric actuator 26 to actuate the continuously variable transmission device for a shift change by a speed change operation mechanism 19a in accordance with motion of the artificial speed change operation device 16, in which acceleration responsiveness by the artificial speed change operation device is improved without generating engine failure. SOLUTION: The artificial speed change operation device and the rotation adjusting means are interlocked through a first interlock mechanism 33 to increase engine rotation speed by operation of the artificial speed change operation device in a speed-increasing shifting direction. The speed change operation mechanism and the rotation adjusting means are interlocked through a second interlock mechanism 34 to increase engine rotation speed by actuation of the speed change operation mechanism in a speed-increasing shifting direction.
