摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device comprising a variable reference voltage generating section which enables a user to obtain a desired color level by determining a variable reference voltage value exclusive of a fixed reference voltage by means of software. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises an analog voltage generating means which preliminarily stores the synchronizing signal and digital data signal externally inputted in response with a write enable signal, converts the preliminarily stored digital data signal and generates a plurality of analog voltage signal pairs, a plurality of variable reference voltage generating means which perform voltage distribution of the corresponding analog voltage signal pairs from among the plurality of the analog voltage signal pairs generated from the analog voltage generating means and respectively output a plurality of variable reference voltage signals, a plurality of fixed reference voltage generating means which perform the voltage distribution of the boosted power-supply voltages and respectively output a plurality of fixed reference voltage signals, and a source drive integrated circuit which receives the plurality of the variable reference voltage signals and the plurality of the fixed reference voltage signals.
