PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe insertion type circuit breaker with an interlock device with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A slide plate 1 or 3 engaged with a handle 2e of the insertion type circuit breaker 2 and turning or sliding with changes of on/off and tripping positions is provided. When the circuit breaker 2 is in an off or a tripping state, an angular arm part 1b fitted to the slide plate is released from engagement with a panel engagement part 12b of a board panel 12, so that the circuit breaker 2 is free to be detached from the panel 12, and when the circuit breaker 2 is in an on-state, the angular arm part 1b gets engaged with the panel engagement part 12b of the panel 12 to keep the circuit breaker 2 unable to be detached from the panel 12.
