PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin radio wave absorber whose structure is simple and which is applicable except a window and excellent in radio wave absorption property. SOLUTION: In the radio wave absorber 1, a conductive coat layer 1a is arranged on one side of a dielectric layer 1b, and an impedance coat layer 1c is arranged on the other surface. The surface resistivity of the conductive coat layer 1a is at most 50Ω. The real part R of the surface impedance Z of the impedance coat layer 1c is 0.01-100Ω, imaginary part X is from -200 to -3Ω, and X and Y are selected from -100≤X/R≤-1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
