PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining structure and a work execution method thereof in which an inner wall surface of a concrete-made storage tank is functionally and economically lined with excellent work execution by using steel plates. SOLUTION: In an overlapped portion of single steel plates in which an inner wall surface of a concrete-made storage tank comprising a plate-like bottom wall, a cylindrical side wall and a dome roof-shaped ceiling wall to cover the upper portion of the side wall is lined by using steel plate, circumferential edge portions of single steel plates located on the lower side are fixed to the concrete inner wall surface by using anchor bolts so that a head part of each anchor bolt is slightly protruded from the surface of the single steel plate, or flat, the single steel plates located on the upper side overlap covering the anchor bolts, circumferential edge portions of the single steel plates located on the upper side except the overlapped portion are fixed to the concrete inner wall surface by using anchor bolts, circumferential edge portions of the overlapped portion are seal-joined by fillet welding to line the concrete inner wall surface.
