PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an execution of sticking at an inappropriate tape speed even when the size of a can is changed, in a can sealer provided with a turn table on which the can fitting a can body and a lid member to each other is placed, a driving means for generating a driving force for rotating the turn table, a tape sticking means riding on a fitting part of the can body and the lid material and sticking a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and a cutting means for cutting the stuck pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: A dimension of the external shape of the can K placed and filled on the turn table is detected, and based on the detected result, an actuating speed of a driving means for driving the turn table 6 is automatically changed and set. A tape sticking means 2 is equipped on a working plate 3 whose position can be controlled in the horizontal direction to the turn table 6 and the position of the working plate 3 is controlled in accordance with the dimension of the can K.
