METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MODEL ANIMAL OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a model animal for allergic rhinitis. SOLUTION: The method comprises administration of cedar pollen allergen Cry j 1 to a small animal. The model animal for allergic rhinitis obtained in the method is excellent in in-vivo evaluation system, effectively usable in screening of materials for prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis especially rhinitis associated with allergy to cedar pollen.
