The invention relates to compounds of general formula (I) where R<1>=an alkyl, cycloalkylalkyl or aralkyl group optionally substituted on the aryl group; R<2>=a phenyl group, or R<2>=an optionally substituted biphenyl group and R<3>=H or alkyl and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The above may be used for the production of a medicament for modulating sodium channels and in particular for treatment of pain (for example, neuropathic pain), epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions and bipolar conditions.
