<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachable/detachable rubber roller assembly which can be easily manufactured and wherein the deformation of the rubber part of the rubber roller is suppressed, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the rubber roller assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer roller assembly 20K is provided with the rubber roller having a shaft member 1 and the rubber part 2, and a handle member 3. The shaft member 1 is combined with the support parts 36 and 37 of the handle member 3 so that it can slide in the axial direction. Besides, a groove 11 is formed in the shaft member 1. As for the handle member 3, an L-shaped hook 33 is arranged outside the support part 36 in the axial direction. The leading end of the hook 33 is arranged in the groove 11 of the shaft member 1.
