<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing sulfur compounds in a sulfur compound-containing fuel gas by the use of an adsorbent for removal of sulfur compounds having excellent performance of removing sulfur compounds comprising sulfides, thiophenes and mercaptans, independent of the concentration of water in the fuel gas. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for removal of at least two sulfur compounds among sulfides, thiophenes and mercaptans in the fuel gas and comprises passing the fuel gas through an adsorbent for removal of the sulfur compounds in which silver is supported with zeolite type-Y by ion exchanging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
