<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can correct the image displacement, without using toner. <P>SOLUTION: A static latent image area 2 is formed by making the light from the exposure section 33 irradiated to the surface of an image carrier 31, charged by using a static charging section 32. A static charge patch is formed on a moving material 21, such as a conveyor belt, by transferring the image on it, without having the toner adhere on the static latent image area 2. The charge patch is formed being charged on the moving material 21, by charging it from the image transfer section 25 provided on the back side of the moving material 21. Thus, it becomes possible to detect the position of the charge patch on the moving material 21 and to correct the displacement, depending on the position of the detected charge patch by measuring its potential change with a potential sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
