<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate starting of a radio base station device while ensuring reliability. <P>SOLUTION: An FROM 15 stores an initialization program, and operation side/preliminary side operation programs. A nonvolatile memory 14 stores fault information indicating an anomaly in hardware/software detected by self-diagnosis during operation, and selection information with which to determine which side the operation program is started from. The initialization program omits detailed diagnosis except about an item in which an anomaly is detected from the fault information, and caches an entire decompression program in a cache memory 16 to decompress the selected operation program into a RAM 13. When a new operation program is downloaded from an OPS 2 to a removable SDM 12, the versions of the operation programs in the SDM and FROM are compared, and if the SDM has a newer one or if the FROM involves a fault, the operation program in the SDM is written into the FROM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
