<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information on contents corresponding to the characteristic and feature of an information reader being the user of an information distributing destination. <P>SOLUTION: Each information terminal apparatus 40 reports the distributing destination to the information selecting and distributing device 60. When information is transmitted to the information terminal apparatus 40, the information selecting and distributing device 60 determines information to be distributed based on the reported distributing destination, and is operated so as to allow the apparatus 40 to receive the information for determination. Sites 1-4 hold and store information acquired via a communication network by each information terminal apparatus 40. A "site" handled in this present business model can be a general home page or a site to introduce the reader to each home page, such as a portal site.
