<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the retrieval of desired information in a PDF file. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a scanner device 10 for fetching information posted on a recording material such as a paper medium as image data, an OCR device 30 that is a test data conversion means for converting part of the information fetched as image data by the scanner device 10 to text data, and a PDF file formation part 20 for converting the information fetched as image data by the scanner device 10 to PDF data, burying the text data converted by the OCR device 30 to a predetermined area of the PDF data to form a PDF file, and registering it in a PDF file database 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
