<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or restrain the operation of a combustion exhaust-gas processing plant from being stopped by remotely monitoring the operational status of the plant and finding a failure in the plant as early as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system monitors plant data showing the operational status of the combustion exhaust-gas processing plant which at least cools the combustion exhaust-gas emitted from a combustion device and removes the dust from the gas, the plant data being outputted from the plant. In this case, the system is provided with a monitoring server 41 provided with a failure detection means 41c that collates the plant data, which are received by means of a reception means 41a from the combustion exhaust-gas processing plant, with a failure value read from a failure value database 49 and determines whether the failure exists in the plant data, and a failure cause detection means 41d which reads the cause of the failure correlated to the failure from the failure value database and detects the cause of the failure regarding the plant data in which the failure is detected by the failure detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
