<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the face of a golf head wherein a center spot of hitting is expanded due to different thickness and an excellent hitting effect. <P>SOLUTION: As for the face of the golf head, the inside is the back surface (20) of a ball-hitting face (2), the outside is a smooth surface, and the connecting part of the ball-hitting face (2) and the golf head (1) is an edge (3).
