PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes labor and time to classify photographs photographed by a digital camera. SOLUTION: An attribute extracting part 36 extracts attributes such as a photographic time, place, azimuth, and photographer's personal information from inputted contents. A similarity calculating part 34 calculates the similarity of the inputted contents and central contents decided by a central contents deciding part 32. A classifying part 42 inputs the similarity of the attributes of the contents extracted by the attribute extracting part 36 and the central contents calculated by the similarity calculating part 34, and classifies the inputted contents according to a classification rule stored in a classification rule data base 48. The classifying part 42 registers the contents in a contents data base 46 by associating the identification of the groups of the classification designation following the classification rule with the contents.
