PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire attaching structure for a manual transmission having good space efficiency and large flexibility in layout. SOLUTION: In the wire attaching structure for a manual transmission, a selecting/shifting mechanism 10 is arranged at a part of a transmission 2 provided on one side of an internal combustion engine. A select connecting rod 21 at a tip end of selecting wire 20 carrying out push/pull action by manual operation, and a shift connecting rod 31 at a tip end of shifting wire 30 are respectively connected to a select inputting member 15 and a shift inputting member 16 protrusively provided on the select/shift mechanism 10. Either one of the select connecting rod 21 ot the shift connecting rod 31 is tilted in a lateral direction, and the other is tilted in a vertical direction to three-dimensionally intersect each other.
