PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality cosmetic having highly clear irradiation marks at a low production cost. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by compounding cosmetic raw materials with an inorganic pigment or an inorganic pigment composite material, press-molding the mixture to form the solid cosmetic 2 having a surface hardness of 5 to 60, and then irradiating the surface of the solid cosmetic 2 with laser beams to form the irradiation marks 3 having suitable shapes such as figures or patterns. Thereby, a conventional elaborate press mold is not necessary, and, since the solid cosmetic surface hardness is 5 to 60 is suitable, the highly clear irradiation marks can be formed, even if the irradiation time of the laser beams on the formation of the irradiation marks is short.
