PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an antenna formed from a printed circuit board, and to reduce the possibility of collision when a reader and a data cartridge relatively move, by using such an antenna. SOLUTION: An antenna 10 includes a flexible printed circuit material 12 equipped with a first half piece 12a and a second half piece 12b linked by a turnover section 12c, a coil trace 13a on the first half 12a, a coil trace 13b on the second half 12b, and a first jumper 20 between the coil traces 13a, 13b, the flexible printed circuit material 12 is turned over in the turnover section 12c, and the first half 12a and the second half 12b are disposed back to back. Patterns of the coil traces 13a, 13b are determined so that the coil traces 13a, 13b are wound in the same direction in the state of disposing the first half 12a and the second half 12b back to back.
