PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system wherein a called party can set an RBT of a caller. SOLUTION: The tone information providing system 10 is provided with: a reception section 101 for receiving call information transmitted from a mobile phone 30 used by a user and including a caller number for particularizing the mobile phone 30 and a called party number for particularizing a mobile phone 35 of a call destination; a tone information selection section 102 for selecting tone information corresponding to the called party number from tone information stored in a tone information storage section 110 in which the called party number and the tone information are stored in cross-reference with each other; a transmission section 103 for transmitting the selected tone information to the mobile phone 30; and a tone information recording section 104 for storing the caller number, the called party number and the tone information to a result information storage section 111 in cross-reference with each other.
