PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the lag/lead, that is, to synchronize at the time of adjusting the phases of a plurality of pieces of sub data generated by dividing the same data. SOLUTION: The data communication system comprises a transmitter and a receiver which form a plurality of transmission paths, a first device provided with a bit slicing means for dividing one inputted lump of data into the plurality of pieces of sub data, an attaching means for attaching an identifier showing that sub data is generated from the same data to each of the sub data generated from the same data by the bit slicing means, and an outputting means for transferring the sub data with the identifier attached by the attaching means to the transmitter in order to transmit the sub data to a second device through the plurality of transmission paths, and a second device provided with a means for receiving each sub data received through the plurality of transmission paths from the receiver, and a restoring means for using the identifier to restore the one original lump of data from the respective pieces of sub data inputted from an inputting means.
